In short: We only text people who agreed to it. Reply STOP to any message to stop, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

Text messaging is coming soon to Main Street Mate. These terms apply to every text message program we run, once it's live.

1. Account alerts for business owners

What you get: alerts about your account, such as your weekly plan being ready, new reviews, and drafted replies, which you can approve by replying (for example, YES).
How you join: by entering your mobile number in your Main Street Mate account, checking the box to receive texts, and confirming with a code we text you.
How often: message frequency varies, usually a few messages a week.

What you get: a message from a business you dealt with, asking about your experience and linking to its Google review page. We send it on that business's behalf.
How you join: the business collects your agreement to receive texts (for example, on a form or at checkout). Businesses must have that consent before adding your number.
How often: up to 2 messages per visit or purchase (a request and one reminder).

Stop anytime: reply STOP to any message. You'll get one confirmation and no more texts from that program. Reply START to join again.
Help: reply HELP, or email hello@mainstreetmate.com.
Cost: message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. We never charge you for texts.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your number stays private: no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
Every message names the business it's from and includes "Reply STOP to opt out."
